“The mind-body approach can be profoundly effective to help regulate emotions and to increase tolerance of stressful interactions and events.”

Approach

At Willow Therapeutic, we take an integrative approach to mental health that recognizes the important connection between the mind and the body. The mind-body approach encourages exploration of thoughts, memories, and emotions while also understanding how past experiences show up in the body as sensations and feelings.

This mind-body approach helps regulate symptoms, build resilience, and integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques, allowing for individualized treatment that meets your therapeutic needs and goals.

we provide a supportive space for adults seeking deeper self-awareness, emotional balance, and meaningful change. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we work collaboratively to develop personalized strategies that align with your needs and goals. We are trained in many different approaches in order to help you gain the tools to feel empowered, build resilience, and live a purpose-driven life.

Individual Therapy

We help people build deeper understanding and improve communication. Using emotionally focused methods, we guide people in relationships to recognize and express their emotions in a meaningful way. This approach fosters connection, strengthens trust, and helps resolve conflicts by addressing the underlying emotions driving them.

Couples Therapy

Currently, no groups are being offered; when groups are offered, the group description will follow the summary below.

Group facilitators encourage participants to experience the benefits of community support—finding solace, reducing isolation, and discovering validation through shared experiences. This collaborative environment not only eases emotional distress but also empowers members to build resilience through mutual encouragement, reflective dialogue, and creative practices. Whether you're looking to explore personal challenges, gain insights from others, or simply connect in a safe space, our group therapy experience offers a nurturing path toward emotional balance and renewed hope.

Group Therapy

We offer trauma-informed therapy to help individuals regain a sense of safety, stability, and control. Using evidence-based techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we help reprocess distressing memories and reduce emotional reactivity. Additionally, trauma-informed yoga is an option that provides a person with an alternative way to support nervous system regulation, allowing a person to reconnect with their body in a safe and healing way. Whether a person is a survivor of past trauma, military personnel, or someone experiencing PTSD symptoms, our approach provides practical tools to process emotions, release stored tension, and build resilience.
