Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who is passionate about trauma-informed care and excited about working with adults and groups for adults. This hybrid role offers flexibility to see clients both in-person (Willow Springs, IL) and via telehealth.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Is passionate about counseling adults

  • Interested in group therapy facilitation and enjoys designing and facilitating therapeutic groups based on their unique skills and interests.

  • Values a mind-body approach

  • Thrives in a collaborative, creative environment and enjoys shaping their own unique path as a therapist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide adult therapy in alignment with the ACA Code of Ethics / NASW and Willow Therapeutic’s Mission and Vision.

  • Maintain ethical and timely professional documentation in accordance with practice guidelines and in your every-day.

  • Attend weekly supervision.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development in alignment with integrative and trauma-informed care and state of IL CE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or social work.

  • Eligible or has obtained active LPC or MSW license in Illinois; new graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Interest in depth psychotherapy, creative approaches, and mindfulness-based interventions.

  • Experience or interest in group therapy and a desire to bring creative therapeutic approaches to the role.

  • Passion for working with trauma, anxiety, relational challenges, and nervous system regulation.

  • Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.

  • Willingness to collaborate and contribute ideas to the practice’s therapeutic offerings.
